Summary Carriage House is hiring a teacher who is able to "float" between classrooms and permanent substitute to join our amazing team! Located in Breckenridge, CO, we are a play based school utilizing the Creative Curriculum, as well as, the Pyramid Plus approach to support social and emotional growth. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with young children, love the Colorado mountain lifestyle and are flexible and adaptable to new situations. We care for children ages 8 weeks to 5 years with incredible ratios, a strong team, great pay (starting at $23/hour), and a full benefits package at 30 hours/week. Carriage House has been "doing what is best for kids since 1973!" Duties Support implementation of daily lesson plans and care Actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth Provide for teacher planning time and cover breaks Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement Requirements Great attitude, flexibility, and willing to learnAbility to work well with others and adjust to different classrooms and agesMust clear full background check Full time position Nice To Haves Experience with young children Benefits Full time(30 hours) benefits include Health Insurance, dental and vision Paid sick/vacation days 9 Paid holidays plus week of spring break Ski Pass Childcare Tuition discount Short Term Disability Retirement Plan Paid trainings and paid Early Childhood Education courses
