We invite applications for a specialist in Urgent Care at our Largo Medical Center location.In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading healthcare delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.What You Can Expect: * Non-Traditional outpatient urgent/ emergent medicine Opportunities * Direct patient care from our Emergency and Family Medicine Physicians * Observation Units staffed by our hospitalist teams * Differential pay for physicians working all nights or all weekends * Collaborative mixed-specialty department, comprised of emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist physicians working together and learning from each other * 8-10 hour shifts * Advanced Urgent Care or Urgent Care settings * Limited overnight coverage * No Behavioral Health Observation * Work every other weekend and split coverage for holidays Minimum Requirements: * MD or DO * Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine * Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia * Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.
