Position Overview: Join MMI Engineered Solutions as a Finance Intern and gain valuable hands-on experience in the dynamic field of finance. This paid internship offers an exciting opportunity for junior or senior college students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Key Responsibilities: Assist the US Operations team in processing Accounts Payable paperwork, from completion to the check run. Support US Operations in processing Accounts Receivable invoicing paperwork for US Component Products. Aid in monitoring discrepancies and issues with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Conduct research to identify the sources of discrepancy issues and collaborate with the responsible departments for resolution. Compile data and assist in preparing monthly metrics as required. Contribute to other accounting projects as needed. Qualifications: Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated experience. Sound knowledge of relevant accounting functions, systems, and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers and colleagues. Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic. Effective problem analysis and problem-solving abilities.
