Federated Hermes Career OpportunityAccountant IWe have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant I located in Pittsburgh, PA. What You?ll DoAs an Accountant I you will assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual audited financial reports for internal use, regulatory agencies and lenders, and to assist with monthly accruals and analysis of corporate expenses or revenue. Duties include but are not limited to the following:? Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnotes.? Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.? Analyze various general ledger accounts for review at management meetings and for year-end audits.? Code and enter various accounting entries into the accounting system.? Reconcile and monitor assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.? Address questions and requests from internal and external auditors.? Assist in the research of various regulatory/reporting requirements. The Expertise We?re Looking For? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting required.? Understanding of general accounting required.? Above average Excel skills, including V-Lookups, pivot tables and if statements.? CPA certification or progress towards attainment is a plus.? Financial service industry experience and knowledge of Oracle Financials is a plus.
