You could be the ideal candidate for the position of bartender at our busy restaurant. You have a positive attitude and a customer-focused approach that ensures our patrons have a great time at the bar. You will be in charge of taking drink orders, recommending beer and wine, preparing traditional and unique mixed drinks, and maintaining the bar area so it is clean and sanitary at all times. Responsibilities: • Purchase needed bar supplies, stock and track all wine, liquor, and beer stocks, and have a full supply of glassware on hand, notifying management of any supply issues or shortages• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and more• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed• Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system• Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations Qualifications: • Outstanding time management and organizational skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members• Must have a strong focus on putting the patron first with exceptional customer service experience• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry• Must consent to background check and pass pre-employment drug screening Compensation: $4.25 - $4.75 hourly About Company: At Hilton Garden Inn, our mission statement is simple: “To provide legendary service to our guests by empowering our team to consistently deliver the spirit of hospitality in a safe and fun work environment.”
