Azure Data is seeking an experienced Executive Business Administrator to provide executive and calendar support to an engineering VP.If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and fun work environment and are passionate about supporting a busy executive with a team size of approx. 65, distributed across multiple time zones and geographies, then this could be the role for you!This role operates in a variety of capacities, working with a senior leadership team demonstrating excellence in administrative functions. You will be responsible for Executive and partner-level interfaces, contact with customers, external partners, and all levels within Microsoft.You should be able to navigate and change directions quickly within a fast-paced engineering environment; have proficient interpersonal and customer service skills; take initiative; demonstrate good judgment and can maintain confidentiality. You will also should be able to set priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Qualifications: Required/Minimum Qualifications 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper-level management. Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Additional or Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology) OR equivalent experience. 2+ years' experience serving as mentor to others. 3+ years' experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training). Effective written and verbal communications skills. Previous Microsoft experience with knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft products including Outlook, Office, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and experience with internal systems such as Employee Central, MyOrder, MS Expense2, iCIMS, DaVinci, Cytric travel, My Device is a huge plus. Ability to self-direct and work independently. Ability to deal with ambiguity and act with appropriate urgency and flexibility while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism. Attention to detail with problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive material with tact and professionalism. Consistently demonstrate a can-do and customer service attitude. Desire to take on big challenges and the ability to see the big picture as well as the details. Demonstrated experience supporting geographically dispersed teams remotely. Ability to lift and move standard office equipment (i.e., computers and peripherals). Ability to build effective cross-group working relationships and work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization. Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $27.40 - $46.49 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $37.84 - $52.98 per hour.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Effectively utilize the leaders' bandwidth through calendar management and monitoring for time efficiency. Partnering with leader and executive office with management of Rhythm of Business calendar and preparing and/or coordinating internal and external engagements and communications as required. Cross collaborating, planning, and managing logistics for leader's team meetings such as Town Halls, staff meetings, morale events and team offsites. Assist with managing the annual/quarterly discretionary budget for the team, headcount and PCN operations within your teams. Ensure smooth execution of travel coordination, booking, and scheduling. Distribution and Security Group ownership and management for the leaders' teams. Proactively lead office space management for your leaders' teams. Office set up and clean out for incoming and outgoing new hire employees and interns. Purchasing equipment, services, and supplies, creating purchase orders and processing invoices.
