We are always on the lookout for like minded individuals to add to our ever growing staff.We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator - Encapsulators for our second shift (2pm-10pm) to maintain and operate machinery. You'll make sure the machines are running efficiently. A great machine operator is reliable and able to pay attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. We are looking for someone who is a team player. Some computer skills and math skills are a plus as well. MUST be able to lift 50 pounds continuously throughout the day and be able to work in a hot environment. Responsibilities: Assist on setup of new product; documenting all parameters and settings needed to run production. Set-up of equipment for production. Responsible to report any and all, major or minor food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. Promote food safety and quality awareness throughout the organization. Retrieve, stage, accurately verify formulas and lot numbers, and document ingredients used in Capsule batches. Operate Capsule equipment according to product manufacturing instructions to produce high quality product in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Thoroughly clean, sanitize and organize workspaces and shared facility areas as directed to maintain an efficient and high-quality manufacturing operation and environment. Complete and submit prescribed daily and/or weekly checklists of key facility equipment and utilities to ensure consistent and effective operation of manufacturing processes. Experience: Knowledge of basic mathematics Flavor industry desired. Computer literate. Machine operator experience (preferred) Personal Characteristics: Strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Self-directed and self-motivated. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Creative problem solver. Organized - strong attention to detail and follow-up.
