NOW HIRING: Long-term Care Admissions Nurse Are you looking for a rewarding career opportunity with an established HealthCare facility, look no further! The Arlington Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center , in Birmingham, AL is currently seeking long-term care Admissions Nurse to join our team. This candidate would be responsible for reviewing and assessing patients who are referred for admission into our rehabilitation facility. Experience in a long-term care environment, knowledge of MDS, and supervisory experience are necessary. If you have a desire and a passion to serve the rehabilitation and healthcare needs in both long-term and short-term care, this is the opportunity for you! Minimum Qualifications: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state of Alabama Experience in a long-term care environment Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Must have a comfort and positive attitude in communicating with the elderly who have multiple nursing care needs Job Type: Full-Time Outstanding Comprehensive Benefits Package!
