Our Retail Store Sales Lead is a key-holder position that will support in day-to-day sales floor operations and customer experience in store. They will be responsible for helping achieve personal and team-oriented sales goals. Lead by example on the sales floor and help ensure team members remain accountable to meet all LFI standards and policies.Danner's 90-plus year commitment to building quality footwear products is well-known in the footwear industry. Since 1932 we have offered footwear for sporting, uniform, outdoors, and occupations such as farming, general utility, and construction. We need a brand advocate whose passion will inspire both old and new generations of Danner brand loyalists. As Store Sales Lead, you will help your team deliver the most personal, memorable, and knowledgeable service possible to our customers. Provides honest and confident feedback to customers regarding merchandise style and fit. Consistently seeks new product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer. Works as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible. Owns all aspects of a sale and customer interaction, from beginning to end. Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Danner culture in all actions and words. Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate. Ensures that stock is replenished and displays are neat and rotated to encourage sales. Assists with backroom projects and assignments as requested. Ensures all workspaces are clean and tidy. Conduct customer service decisions in the absence of management. Perform opening and closing duties as requested. Performs other duties, as assigned by Manager. Track and achieve expected KPI metrics at individual and store level. Must Haves A natural passion for serving others and creating customer loyalty. Strong customer empathy and the ability to turn negativity into great customer experiences. Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values Strong organizational and follow-through skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of ownership, dependability and initiative with flexible shift availability for the retail environment. Must be able to climb a ladder and maneuver in a tight stockroom To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Desired Education and Experience 2+ years retail sales experience in a strong customer service environment preferred High School diploma or equivalent Experience with POS MS Excel & Outlook experience Experience fitting footwear a plus Brand knowledge of Danner a plus Work Environment 100% work is spent in a retail store setting.
