We were awarded ownership and a50:year contractfor the operations and maintenance of the water and wastewater treatment facilities and distribution and collection systems atFort Leonard Wood, Missouri. FLW is located in Pulaski County and is bordered on the north by the towns of Waynesville and St. Robert, Missouri.The primary source of water for the Installation is from Big Piney River. The surface water treatment plant provides approximately 3 million gallons per day (MGD). This is supplemented by 22 groundwater wells. The water system also includes five 500,000:gallon elevated storage tanks, 1.5 million:gallon clear: well, a 170,000:gallon aboveground storage tank, and a 2.25 million:gallon aboveground storage tank.We are looking for a water treatment professional to join our team : apply now for immediate consideration Primary Role Independently operate, maintain, repair and inspect water treatment systems at treatment plant, wells and similar work in the water distribution system (pump stations, storage tanks, fire hydrants, etc). Includes the collection of water samples per state regulations, recording data and preparing regulatory reports, adjusting chemical feed rates, and other similar duties. Position will also be required to assist with the wastewater collection system on a periodic basis and participate in water and sewer main and service repairs.
