The attorney will be responsible for patent preparation and prosecution, with a particular emphasis on electrical engineering or computer science. The successful candidate will possess a strong academic background, relevant industry experience, and exceptional communication skills. Admission to the USPTO and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree are mandatory. Duties:Conduct patent searches and analyze prior art to determine patentability.Draft and prosecute patent applications related to electrical engineering or computer science.Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters.Conduct legal research and analysis on patent issues.Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and clients to understand technology and innovation. Requirements:2+ years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the USPTO.Bachelors or advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer science.Solid academic achievement in law school and undergraduate studies.Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Strong communication and writing skills. Preferred Experience:Experience in patent prosecution related to electrical engineering or software-related technologies.Familiarity with data science/AI, networking technologies (especially network security), and machine learning/artificial intelligence with a focus on hardware security. Skills:Proficient in legal research and analysis.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate with inventors, engineers, and clients.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Familiarity with patent prosecution processes.Knowledge of data science/AI, networking technologies, and machine learning is a plus.
