The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, significant law firm or industry experience, and exceptional writing and communication skills. The individual should hold a degree in electrical engineering or computer science, with a preference for experience in patent prosecution related to electrical engineering, software technologies, data science/AI, networking technologies (especially network security), machine learning/artificial intelligence, and hardware security. Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is mandatory. Duties:Conducting thorough prior art searches and patentability analyses.Drafting and prosecuting patent applications related to electrical engineering, software technologies, data science/AI, networking technologies, machine learning/artificial intelligence, and hardware security.Collaborating with inventors, attorneys, and clients to gather necessary information for patent prosecution.Managing patent portfolios and providing strategic counseling on intellectual property matters.Conducting legal research to support patent prosecution and litigation efforts. Requirements:Bachelor or advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer science.Admission to the USPTO is mandatory.4+ years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.Solid understanding of patent laws and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Experience:Patent prosecution experience in electrical engineering or software-related technologies.Expertise in data science/AI, networking technologies (especially network security), machine learning/artificial intelligence, and hardware security. Skills:Exceptional writing and communication skills.Proficiency in conducting prior art searches and patentability analyses.Strong legal research skills.Strategic thinking and counseling on intellectual property matters.Collaboration and teamwork with inventors, attorneys, and clients.
