The role entails a mix of client interaction, legal research, case development, and drafting legal documents.Duties:Represent clients in hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges.Answer client questions and provide support throughout the legal process.Review and develop pre-hearing and hearing-level cases.Conduct legal research.Write pre-hearing brief memorandums for disability hearings.Draft appeals council briefs.Maintain regular client contact via telephone, in person, mail, and email.Travel to and from hearings in other cities and states, up to 70% of the time.Requirements:Attorney License.Reliability and dependability.Eagerness to learn and make a difference.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Excellent legal writing skills.Ability to travel to and from hearings in other cities and states up to 70% of the time.Knowledge of Social Security Disability Law is preferred.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Bar admission in Texas.Skills:Familiarity with Social Security Disability Law.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.Benefits:Fast-paced, professional environment.Fulfilling, challenging, and rewarding workloads.Great team environment.Paid holidays and paid time off.Comprehensive medical benefits package.Employee wellness program.Competitive salary with 401(k) and profit sharing.
