This role involves extensive legal research, drafting various legal documents, representing clients in court proceedings, and collaborating with expert witnesses. The ideal candidate will have solid analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.Duties:Conduct file reviews and legal analysis of claims and causes of actionPerform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefsMaintain an annual billable amount of 1950 hoursRepresent clients in court, arbitrations, and depositionsDraft and respond to discovery requestsRetain and collaborate with expert witnessesPrepare for trials and attend as requiredIt may involve occasional travelRequirements:Minimum of 1+ year of experience in general liability; experience in other practice areas is a plusJ.D. degree from an ABA-approved law schoolAdmitted to practice in the state of Missouri; admission in other states is advantageousSuperior analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong research abilities and written/oral communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentPrompt responsiveness to e-mail and phone inquiriesExcellent client-handling skills and telephone etiquetteBenefits Offered:Innovative financial incentive bonus program rewarding entrepreneurial initiativeProactive support and training for marketing objectivesExcellent Benefits, including a 401k matchExceptional growth and advancement opportunities
