Cetechs, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology Physician to join our team. Qualifications and Requirements : Education: Degree of Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathy or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. Experience: 2 years Licensure: Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia Must be a US Citizen; Certifications: Shall be a Board Certified /Board Eligible Gastroenterologist by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency; Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. Duties & Responsibilities: The staff Gastroenterologist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties: Physician should have expertise in Gastroenterology and be able to treat and manage patients who have illnesses related to General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Provide comprehensive care to include: provide clinical Gastroenterology services including procedures, consultations and other related Gastroenterology procedures. provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all Gastroenterology clinical or surgical patients. communicate test results to colleagues and patients. Perform administrative tasks as assigned, such as peer reviews, Compensation and Pension evaluations, and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE). Coordinate care and/or referrals for patients requiring services not provided at the facility. On call services required.
