CopperState Fire Protection, a Pye-Barker company, is currently seeking a Field Technician Helper in our Phoenix, Arizona branch. Position Summary: This position requires the ability to assist all levels of technicians and/or managers as needed or required. This position is primarily a field based position but may also be required to assist with shop tasks. Duties & Responsibilities: Willingness and demonstrative ability to take direction from senior technicians Demonstrates initiative to improve knowledge, skills, and abilities Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site Ability and willingness to travel or ride-along to a variety of customer sites Tracks all time worked in assigned time keeping systems Prepared to answer questions from customers Interface successfully with the administration, sales, Customers, and Management Other duties as assigned Education & Required Skills: High School Diploma/GED Desire to learn and maintain knowledge within fire industry Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Ability to work with small tools as assigned (i.e. screw driver, hammer, etc.) Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized Strong time management skills Must read and speak English About CopperState Fire Protection: CopperState Fire Protection is a division of Mountain Alarm Fire & Safety.
