Don't forget to take a look at our comprehensive benefits!SUMMARYSells the company's products and/or services by interacting with major accounts developing new prospects and continuing customer relationships, while overseeing related sections of the department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Develops sales of products and/or services by researching and resolving customer problems, researching and recommending vendors, recommending modification to the product/service line and coordinating sales negotiations with appropriate personnel. * Travels regularly to communicate with customers & vendors (both existing and prospective) regarding the purchasing and sales of product. * Provides reports and market information for sales forecasts. * May be required to lead sales projects or other areas of customer concern. * Confers with superior on unusual matters. * May be assisted by earlier levels. * Assignments are broad and may require originality and ingenuity. * Has appreciable latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions. * A fully competent performer. * Customers may be domestic or international, requiring familiarity with transportation, warehousing, and marketing essential to imports/exports. * Other duties.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCETypically a Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, or Economics preferred) with 6 - 9 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.COMPUTER SKILLSMust have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Typically, Visio, SAP. or J.D.
