Camp Micah Hiking Counselor Job Description Direct Supervisors: Unit Leader and Hiking Team Leader Food, housing, and laundry provided: June 14 - August 8, 2024 Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver's license Hiking/Trip Responsibilities Assist in leading day/overnight hiking trips throughout Maine and New Hampshire for campers of ages 7-15 years old Assist with food preparation on overnight trips Ensure proper care and storage of tripping supplies and equipment Bunk Responsibilities: Create a cohesive bunk unity Recognize and respond to opportunities for problem solving in the bunk Provide opportunities for bunk and individual discussions Supervise campers’ health needs and eating habits At all times, know the whereabouts and activities of your bunk’s campers
