Title: Sr. UI/UX Designer - Hybrid Location: Durham, NC, USA Length: Long term Restriction: W2 or C2C Description: *** Very long term project initial PO for 1 year, expect to go for 4+ years *** *** Hybrid *** Short Description: Senior UI/UX Designer to improve our applications into user friendly products for our clients. Job Description: Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineers.Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.Build page navigation buttons and search fields.Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images. Required Skills: Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role for web applications 7 YearsProven experience working on a variety of design projects involving web based applications 7 YearsKnowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision) 5 YearsUp to date knowledge and hands on working experience of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop 5 YearsAbility to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency independently identify options. 7 YearsAbility to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures. 7 Years Highly Desired Skills: Business knowledge and experience implementing SNAP and other federal programs as per the policy requirements. 7 YearsExperience designing applications using the social services products 5 YearsExperience designing and/or developing dashboards using Power BI 4 YearsExperience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development 3 YearsExperience designing applications using low code no code technologies like Salesforce, Microsoft dynamics and others. 2 YearsKnowledgeable in DevOps practices and Shift Left testing 2 Years
