Duties:Open new files and initiate client contact, maintaining regular communicationFully investigate each case, gathering and analyzing intake information and documentsEnter pertinent case information into the database and maintain accurate recordsVerify insurance coverage and liability issues, maintaining contact with insurance companiesManage clients' medical care, scheduling appointments, and explaining proceduresContinuously monitor case status and review medical recordsOrganize and maintain case files, preparing files for submission to demand writersProvide excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skillsDemonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesDevelop working relationships with clients, field associates, and vendorsWork independently and in a team environment while maintaining confidentialityPossess basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminologyFluency in Spanish is a plus Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited universityAdmission to the Florida Bar Association Experience:2+ years of Workers' Compensation experience Benefits Offered:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurancePaid time off401kEmployer-paid short-term disability and basic life insurance
