Responsibilities: : Taylor and Hyster forklifts (ex: 360, 160, etc.): Volvo Log Loader: CAT Log Loader: CAT Knuckle Boom: Prentice Knuckle Boom: Bobcat Skid Steer: Various Maintenance Trucks: Portable Welders and Air Compressors Required Skills: : 3:5 years experience as a Heavy:Duty Mechanic: The ability to operate mobile equipment for test purposes: Experience with hydraulics and welding: Superior troubleshooting skills: Strong analytical skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills: Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner: Ability to work independently and in a team environment: Solid background in heavy industry and construction: Knowledge of Cat, Kalmar and Taylor equipment would be an asset, as well as knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process *** Key Responsibilities: :Ensure safety standards are met by following Canfor safe work and lockout procedures:Maintain and repair mobile equipment such as Taylor, Kalmar and Hyster forklifts, Wagner log loader and La Tourneau log loader, etc. : Operate mobile equipment for test purposes and test:drive vehicles to ensure that they run smoothly: Follow a checklist of inspection procedures: Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists: Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles: Perform routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts: Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attach system components: Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipmentDont check off every single bullet point?
