JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for an upbeat and approachable beach attendant to provide excellent guest service experiences. Providing consistent white-glove service and exceeding customer expectations is the Westin way. The selected candidate for this role will have the following attributes: · Quality · Productivity · Dependability · Customer Focus · Adaptability DESIRED COMPETENCIES, WORK SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE Friendly and approachable demeanor. Consistently offer professional and exemplary service . Act as a brand ambassador and valued source of information for guests. Excellent communication skills with a diverse group of customers. Practice proper verification of guests to ensure you are only providing service to the Westin guests. Demonstrate a high level of service to guests using the beach. Knowledge of menu items. Takes food orders. Time management skills. Address guest concerns quickly and professionally . Manage use of chairs and umbrellas. Provide towels. CPR and First Aid certified is a plus. Knowledge of safety regulations. Comply with policies, procedures, and service standards. Ability to complete additional duties (wear multiple hats) upon request) and assist whenever needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain regular attendance, is consistently on time. Observe duties, break and meal periods in compliance with standards. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming in compliance with the company dress code.
