CNC Machinist

We are looking for candidates who have experience in large machines, 5 axis and 7 axis. Horizontal boring (HBM) is what they are extremely in need for. G&M codes experience as well. Prefer candidates with experience in heavy metal as that is what we do. 1,2,3 is 8-hour shifts 7:30-3:3:30 3:30-11:30 11:30-7:30 2 and 3rd shift have a 4% shift differential Weekend shifts are 2 12hour shifts Saturday and Sunday and then an 8-hour shift on Monday or Friday. 32 hours paid for 40 with a 4% shift differential. Training for that shift will be during the week until put on the weekend. OT is available due to production need basis We are currently seeking candidates to fill multiple manual and CNC machining positions at our facility in Barberton, Ohio. Positions will vary based upon availability and business need, but may include CNC lathes, multi-axis CNC HBMs, Vertical Machining Centers, and VTLs. To thrive in these roles, individuals must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. High school diploma or equivalency with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant machining experienceMust be able to recognize problems as programs are running and demonstrate ability to write/edit programs using both G and M coded controls (experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls preferred).Work to 0.0005 tolerance and microfinish 16 when necessaryUse higher math and engineering theories to work with tooling engineers to devise optimum tooling design and practicesHave experience with grinders, tool setters, jacks, clamps, bolts, shims, jigs, fixtures, angle plates, rules, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gages, levels, protractors, verniers, and light hand toolsMust demonstrate ability to maintain detailed records; must be able to complete process documentation and other production records.Be able to pass all proficiency testing for the positionMust be open and available to working all shifts
