Job Posting - Systems Administrator Job Title: Systems Administrator Job Location: Harrisburg, PA Employment: Full-Time Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 DESCRIPTION Information Network Associates, Inc. (INA) is currently seeking an experienced IT professional to serve as a full time Systems Administrator. At INA, we are passionate about protecting people, property, and data and our IT division is an essential part to provide these services. JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY This position provides end-user support and troubleshooting in an office environment. Under the direction of Executive Management, the position will provide technical support and assistance to resolve problems with the organizations computer networks and systems. The incumbent will also support Digital Forensic and Cyber Security initiatives within the company under the direction of the respective unit leader. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides technical support identifying, investigating, and resolving users' problems with computer software and hardware for problems specific to the company's computer networks and systems. Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems. Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve problems. Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends. Leads development and implementation processes for the company's IT systems and department. Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss. Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure. Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs. Oversees security of systems, networks, and company information. Facilitates IT security audits or investigations. Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of the applicable unit leader, support Digital Forensics initiatives as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of Science, Associate Degree, or Technical Diploma in the field of Computer or Information Science, or a minimum of four (4) years' work experience in an IT capacity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or related software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Thorough understanding of IT and practical applications to support company goals. Experience with Digital Forensic processes, hardware, software, and related tools is a plus but not required. Valid driver's license from the state of residence, vehicle registration, required insurance; must have reliable vehicle. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Depending on the assignment, position may require: Ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations. Ability to stand, walk, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination and arm/hand/finger dexterity, including ability to grasp. Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read technical information. WORK ENVIRONMENT Based on the assignment, employee's work environment will vary; however, the primary location will be in an indoor office environment with the potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to electronics work. Position may require periodic travel to satellite/client sites. MENTAL REQURIEMENTS Possess the ability to think and react quickly to dynamic and evolving situations. Possess sound judgment and decision-making skills. Communicate effectively with clients, other employees, and the public. Work in a drug/alcohol-free environment.
