Infrastructure Engineer, Field Engineer, Network Engineer, Services Engineer, highway, Fibre, Camera Field Engineer Highway - ANPR - Networking - Camera - ISO9001 Location: Home Based Manchester and Stevenage Salary: Starting from £36k plus overtime + Excellent Benefits Our client is a prominent supplier of advanced and eco-friendly intelligent mobility solutions looking for a Field Engineer to join their Operations department. Reporting to a Field Operations Manager, your primary focus will involve supporting the design, construction, and installation of new permanent and temporary projects. Duties: Assist Field Operations Manager in designing, configuring, and installing new projects. Provide pre-technical support for sales, including site surveys, solution design, customer meetings, job costing, and third-party negotiations. Manage on-site equipment installation and supervise subcontractors as needed. Perform field service tasks and maintenance activities, such as calibrations and annual servicing. Ensure timely resolution of faults within Service Level Agreement SLA and keep customers updated on progress. Register assets and maintain accurate status in the service management system. Record faults against assets and complete work orders within target SLA. Collaborate with Account Management to maintain positive customer relationships. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and Quality Management System QEMS protocols. Supervise on-site third-party contractors. Provide feedback to product engineering for fault reporting and design enhancements. Document site surveys and review technical specifications. Generate calibration certificates and site-specific data files. Requirements: 2 years in camera-based Speed Enforcement and ANPR technologie preferred 2 years in highways preferred Sound knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including 3G/4G, wireless, routing, and fiber optics preferred Good understanding of Health and Safety in Highways environments.
