We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Liverpool to assist with the appointment of a shop Dispensing Assistant , on a 3-month contract , likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £12.10- £14.78 per hour Responsibilities: Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensuring dispensing losses are minimised Ensuring accurate handling and dispensing on all medicines NHS and private Complying with legal and professional requirements and Company SOPs Assist in the delivery of all shop services where appropriate Ensuring all customers and patients receive safe and accurate advice on medicines including OTC medication as required Delivering on all aspects of the Dispensing role including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing with appropriate claims Qualifications: You will have a NVQ2 in shop Services / Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed by a GPh C accredited route. Experience of working in a community shop, ideally with experience of using shop Manager software Working NHS Smartcard Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
