We are hiring at Communities of Care for a Private Duty Nurse (LPN/RN) for a client that is in need of a passionate and skilled individual to care for a pediatric male client. We would love for this individual to join our team of amazing caregivers with their skills and talents. We are seeking nurses that are dedicated to an environment of helping people to enrich their lives on a daily basis. Our Home Care Nurses help our clients live longer, healthier, and happier lives while keeping their autonomy in their own homes, close to the places and people they love. Client information: - 3-year-old male - Age appropriate and verbal - Hypotonia, congenital anomaly - Incomplete C1/C3 spinal injury - GT, Trach/vent (Trying to wean) Responsibilities: Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and/or disabled patients - Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans - Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms and/or behaviors. - Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention Required Skills: - Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities - Maintain accurate patient medical records. - Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with medical software and equipment - Ability to build rapport with patients and their family members. - Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - EEO/AA.
