The Associate Attorney will play a pivotal role in the Fund Formation Investment Management (FFIM) Practice Group, contributing to various aspects of fund structuring, management, compliance, and client interaction. Duties:Structuring and formation of investment fundsNegotiating side letters and secondary salesRegistration and compliance under the Investment Advisers ActDrafting and reviewing complex legal documentsManaging projects and transactions efficiently Requirements:JD from an ABA-approved law schoolActive member in good standing of the Bar in relevant jurisdiction(s)2-5 years of experience in fund formation and investment managementStrong document drafting skillsComfortable with direct interaction with senior partners and clientsPositive attitude and exceptional work ethicAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law schoolAdmission to the Bar in relevant jurisdiction(s) Skills:Solid fund formation and investment management experienceProficiency in fund and management structuringNegotiation skills for side letters and secondary salesKnowledge of Investment Advisers Act complianceStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to manage complex projects and transactions efficiently A well-known, top-drawer firm with an especially strong health care practice, this firm offers offices across the U.S. in addition to European and Asian outposts.
