SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER ProService is seeking a creative and passionate Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of our products. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring that every facet of our product experience is intuitive, engaging, and accessible. Your mission is to bridge the gap between user expectations and technological capabilities, crafting designs that not only meet user needs but also drive business success. You'll leverage your deep understanding of user behavior, innovative design approach, and effective collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing. In today's competitive landscape, the quality of the user experience can make or break a product. We're looking for someone who not only can create beautiful experiences that prioritize usability and navigation. Your creativity, technical expertise, and empathetic approach to user needs will be key in elevating our products above the competition and ensuring they resonate with users. WHAT YOU'LL DO Design intuitive and engaging product experiences that meet the needs of our users and drive business objectives while prioritizing accessibility standards and inclusivity. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to help define and bring alignment to product vision and strategies. Empower decision-making through user research, translating insights into actionable design solutions. Contribute towards user research and usability studies as our design team grows. Translate research findings into deliverables like effective customer journeys, sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, or prototypes. Design handoff: Preparing design assets and specifications for developers, ensuring a smooth transition from design to development. Iterative design: Embracing an iterative design process that includes user testing and feedback to refine and improve designs over time. Fostering a cohesive user experience across our platform. Engage in constructive dialogue with stakeholders by understanding and incorporating diverse viewpoints. Effectively communicate the rationale behind your designs and present design concepts to stakeholders to gather feedback and secure their buy-in. Serve as an advocate for an inclusive user experience, promoting usability, accessibility, and ease of use. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM 5+ years of design experience, with a focus on product design and implementation for SaaS platforms. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as HCI, Design, or a related discipline. A strong portfolio showcasing your work on SaaS applications, including examples of processes and methodologies used. Experience with conducting or contributing towards user research and usability testing to inform design decisions. Experience executing evidence-based processes to validate the efficacy of design solutions. Provide examples of how you leveraged research insights that influenced design decisions. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders. Strong storyteller; professionally creates and structures their presentations to articulate design decisions and process clearly. Ability to manage design projects, prioritize tasks, and work within project timelines. Experience in designing products with accessibility. Mobile and/or app experience is beneficial. Knowledge of advanced prototyping tools can also be beneficial. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Asana or similar. An interest in or experience facilitating collaborative design workshops The base compensation for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications. To ensure effective collaboration and alignment with our team's workflow, we have a preference for candidates who are based in or willing to work within the Mountain and Central time zones of the United States. While this is not a strict requirement, priority will be given to candidates who can accommodate this aspect of the role.
