The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Shared Health Diagnostic Services is responsible for the coordinated delivery of all Diagnostic Services across Manitoba. This position will ensure the safe, effective, coordinated and timely delivery of high-quality Diagnostic services (Diagnostic Imaging (DI), Non-Invasive Cardiac Testing (NICT). Reporting to the relevant Director Diagnostic Services this position will ensure that the operations is in accordance with the standards and regulations of the profession and will oversee the day-to-day operations for the designated unit. The areas this position represents are: Diagnostic Imaging (DI) & Non-Invasive Cardiac Testing (NICT). Main Function In collaboration with the designated Director Diagnostic Services, the position will assume responsibility for the designated unit specific quality assurance activities Monitor the budget on a regular basis and take corrective action and explain variances as necessary Serve as a resource person and lead staff in achieving strategies and initiatives and establishing efficient operations Facilitate an environment, which fosters change through effective role modelling, support and delegation Works with regional, private Diagnostic providers and site personnel regarding.
