Mac OS IT Support Engineer Location: Old Street Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum Are you a recent graduate or an IT Professional looking for an exciting new role About the company A well-established IT organisation MSP, providing a vast range of IT services to their clients are looking for a Field IT Engineer to join their expanding team in London. Position Overview As the visible representative of the IT Department, they are seeking a proficient First/Second Line Mac OS Engineer with strong customer-facing abilities and experience. They will serve as an onsite support presence at their client's location, serving as the primary contact for IT Support inquiries and incidents. Responsibilities • Provide 1st/2nd Line customer facing and remote support structure. • Provide internal IT support when required. • PC and server configuration. • Firewall configuration and troubleshooting. • Daily system checks including backup monitoring and reporting. • Proactively and reactively deliver technical support to their clients as required to meet the demands of our clients and SLAs. • Maintain and update internal client documentation and logging time and activities in a consistent and timely manner to allow client billing and business metric reporting. Contribute to documenting internal processes. • Be part of the OOH rota. • Escalate issues that cannot be completed or risk being completed within agreed service levels. • Manage, plan and deliver non-complex projects. • Develop knowledge of the customer and how IT relates to their business strategy and goals. • Display further technical skills in WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security. Candidate Requirements Essential Skills and personal qualities• 3 years’ experience working with an MSP or ISP. • Windows Server– Working Knowledge of Active directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP troubleshooting and administration. • mac OS support experience. • Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online. •.
