Data Warehouse Manager Location: Birmingham Salary: A GBP 50,952 to A GBP 57,349 per annum Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Our client is looking for an experienced data warehouse professional to join their team as Data Warehouse Manager. You will lead the development of the next phase of their established data warehouse and be responsible for its ongoing management and maintenance. As an organised, highly skilled and adaptable individual you will lead a small team of developers and provide technical expertise to the wider Health Informatics team. This is an exciting opportunity your skills and knowledge to shape the future of the Trusts data environment as they work towards implementing a new EPR system. Main Duties Planning, designing and delivering expansions to the existing data warehouse to incorporate new data sources Support the implementation of the Trusts new EPR system, through data migration and reconfiguration of the data warehouse Support the enhancement of the Trusts BI offering utilising SSAS and Power BI Manage and maintain existing data warehouse infrastructure to ensure continuous and reliable information systems availability Develop and implement procedures to improve the long term resilience and robustness of the data warehouse Provide management and professional leadership to the data warehouse development team Act as a technical lead across the Health Informatics department, and assist with support and development issues as required, using high levels of knowledge and experience Qualifications Essential Evidence of continuing professional development Degree level qualification or equivalent experience Skills and Knowledge Essential Advanced user of professional office software, including spreadsheets Creative and logical approach to investigating, analysing and solving complex problems Ability to understand and interpret highly complex system and data specifications Ability to identify, interpret and document complex user information.
