The Library Bar, located inside of the historic Arlington Hotel, is the ultimate spot for a cozy get together with friends or to celebrate any of life's special moments. If you have the desire to work as a Restaurant Server/Bartender in a bar with a picturesque backdrop modelled after the bars in some of our favourite hotels, and are looking to join a team of champions we want to meet you. AT THE LIBRARY BAR OUR SERVERS/BARTENDERS: Are expected to ensure the highest quality service and deliver extraordinary experiences to the guests while visiting the Library Bar. Gain meaningful work experience in a welcoming and exciting environment where we lead by example and work together to achieve results. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for a professional serving/bartending role. We are flexible in our approach to scheduling in order to accommodate our team’s other commitments. SERVERS/BARTENDERS AT THE LIBRARY BAR WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Get to know our guests; be able to comfortably answer any questions they may have. Learn the details of various menu options on offer. Complete closing and opening duties as needed. Provide quick and courteous food and beverage service. Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsible. Ensure consistent steps of service with every guest interaction in line with marketing initiatives. Ensure guests are satisfied with their selections and service, be attentive to their needs. Ensure service areas are kept clean, tidy and functional at all times. Ensure that bars are well-stocked with all necessary materials. Resolve guest complaints and requests in a friendly, timely and efficient manner. Make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our members and guests by directly contributing their extraordinary memories. Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities.
