Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting a Mental Health Specialist to work within a Mental Health and Wellbeing Team within an Educational Setting supporting Students with ongoing mental health difficulties. Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting a Mental Health Specialist to work within a Mental Health and Wellbeing Team within an Educational Setting supporting Students with ongoing mental health difficulties. The successful application will: Provide psychological support on a one-to-one basis offering backssment, review and referral in line with national frameworks. Be the first point of contact for staff and students experiencing low level mood all the way up to acute mental health episodes. Use initiative and devise strategies to help students struggling to attend and engage. Promptly record and maintain accurate case notes. Monitor progress of current student who have declared mental health difficulties and follow up on signs of vulnerability or disengagement. Ultimately the Mental Health and Wellbeing Team aims to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgement space to support with any issues affecting heir ability to study and help develop a better student experience. Person Specification The successful applicant must be a Qualified Mental Health Nurse currently registered with the NMC or Qualified Social Worker currently registered with Social Work England and have recent experience working within Mental Health Services. Contract Length: Minimum 9 month with potential of extension and/or permanent contract Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00Pay: negotiable depending on previous experience.
