Hatch, a full-service consultancy, is currently seeking a highly motivated Resident Engineer to join the Infrastructure group in our Linear Infrastructure & Facilities team in the Vancouver, BC location. The Resident Engineer will be based on site for the Sky Train Operations, Maintenance and Control facility (OMC4), located in Coquitlam, BC. The role will include interaction/coordination with Hatch’s multidisciplinary team of engineers and architects, the client, Trans Link, the constructor and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a high-quality design for our clients while adhering to technical requirements, schedule and commercial objectives. The core responsibilities of the role include implementation oversight, design/interdisciplinary coordination, and client/constructor/stakeholder engagement. This role requires on-site technical experience working on complex multidisciplinary projects as well as high emotional quotient, objective thinking, problem solving skills and empathetic.
