Topology of metric spaces; compactness, functions and continuity, the extreme value theorem. Derivatives; inverse and implicit function theorems, maxima and minima. Integration; Fubini's theorem, partitions of unity, change of variables. Integration on manifolds; Stokes' theorem. Estimated course enrolmen t: 25 Number of positions : 1 Size of appointment : 55 hrs Sessional dates of appointment: Sept. 1, 2023 - Dec. 31, 2023 Salary : $52.26 per hour + 4% vacation pay Minimum qualifications : Completion of several mathematics courses with high grades. Demonstrated understanding of the course material and beyond. Teaching experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
