Addiction and Mental Health Worker (Evenings), My Sisters’ Place 2 Positions Available Part-Time, Contract (Ending: March 31, 2023) London, Ontario - Application Deadline: August 24, 2023 - The My Sisters’ Place drop-in program fosters a vibrant community of women who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness, promoting a welcoming and non-judgmental culture and providing a reprieve from the stigma women so often feel in other community settings. Our team supports women with anything they might need - from a hot meal to tampons, from access to showers and laundry facilities to harm reduction kits and from on-site mental health and addictions groups to connections with broader community supports. WHAT WE'RE OFFERING: What you'll be making - $22.33 to $25.71 per hour (Practicing Professional Grid) The above are initial rates; with grid increases as per policy Internal staff members will be placed on the appropriate grid based on their current rate of pay, up to Level 8 of the grid (see Intranet Policy - bit. ly/Compensation Policy Pg16 ) When you'll work - 44 hours over two-week period; Weekday evening shifts and day shifts every other weekend Your pension plan – Immediately eligible for optional enrollment in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) PSLRTA Notice - This posting characterizes this position as currently non-union. However, please be aware that at the organization on September 29, 2022, a vote was held as a result of an application by the Organization under the Public Sector Labour Relations Transition Act. The result was that employees voted to award OPSEU bargaining rights for all employees.
