The ideal candidate will have 7-15 years of experience with a strong background in handling complex legal issues within the healthcare sector. This position offers the opportunity to manage cases, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to the firm's litigation strategy.Duties:Handle complex healthcare litigation cases from inception to resolution.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Manage and coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders throughout the litigation process.Provide strategic counsel to clients on healthcare regulatory matters and risk management.Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting healthcare litigation.Assist with business development efforts and client relationship management.Requirements:7-15 years of experience practicing law, preferably focusing on healthcare litigation.Prior experience working in a large law firm environment handling complex cases.Strong academic credentials, including a J.D. from a top-tier law school.Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission.Exceptional writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.Trial experience is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.Team leadership and mentorship capabilities.Proficiency in legal technology and case management software is preferred.
