Addiction and Mental Health Worker, London Coffee House Part-time, Contract; End date: March 31, 2024 Please note we are hiring for two separate contract positions at this time London, Ontario - Application Deadline August 24, 2023 - We are currently seeking to expand our pool of Relief Addiction and Mental Workers at London Coffee House. Working varying hours in our Day, Evening, and Weekend Programs, Relief staff perform duties and responsibilities consistent with providing a safe and welcoming environment to participants. These programs support participants who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Relief staff are eligible to apply for internal postings after completing three months in their Relief role. Successful candidates must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed in the last six months. Interested applicants who reside in the City of London and are in need of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible as PVSCs are currently taking approximately 2 weeks to be delivered and offers of employment cannot be made without receipt of a PVSC. WHAT WE'RE OFFERING: What you'll be making - What you'll be making - $22.33 to $25.71 per hour (Practicing Professional Grid) The above are initial rates; with grid increases as per policy Internal staff members will be placed on the appropriate grid based on their current rate of pay, up to Level 8 of the grid (see Intranet Policy - bit. ly/Compensation Policy Pg16 ) When you'll work - 50 hours bi-weekly, to be scheduled mornings and every other weekend.
