Description:

Forte Analytical is a metallurgical and geological testing facility. We are seeking someone to assist in the lab and warehouse with general labor, sample preparation, and basic testing. Training will be provided as required. Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to): Conduct sample preparation, crushing, grinding, lifting, packing, transporting, staging, etc. Assist with conducting basic metallurgical, geotechnical, and geochemical testing Assist engineering staff with other testing needs Provide testing insight and recommendations for testing modifications Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment Maintain safety and cleanliness standards Experience & Qualifications: Relevant experience in a related field is preferred, training will be provided Able to read and understand written procedures and standard operation procedures Able to work safely with hazardous chemicals Able to wear mandatory safety equipment (safety shoes and respirator) Able to lift up to 50 lbs., repeatedly, as needed Understanding of basic math and chemistry Strong adherence to safety protocols Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to take direction well and learn quickly Reliable, honest, and a high standard of integrity Problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as work effectively as a team member Ability to work in a fast paced and fluid environment Keen attention to detail and ability to recognize discrepancies Comprehension of Microsoft Suite of programs (Excel, Word, Project) Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Associates or bachelor’s degree in science related field preferred Work Remotely: No Job Types: Full-time Hourly Pay Range: $19 - $24 Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health, Dental and Vision insurance Flexible schedule Paid time off Sick leave Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Powered by JazzHR
