We are looking for an ambitious, confident, and creative User Interface Designer to join our UI Team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. You'll work in our friendly and collaborative team to create simple yet beautiful design experiences for our Currys and Carphone Warehouse customers. Key Role Responsibilities : Transform wireframes and design briefs into simple, beautiful UI that our customers will love: Use and contribute to our UI design system, ensuring output is consistent and aligned to overall Currys brand look and feel: Understand best practices and standards in design methodologies and processes, including accessibility: Ensure designs are pixel: perfect and ready for hand: off to our development teams: QA and UAT front: end code to ensure it matches your designs: Understand how to balance customer needs with the KPIs of the business in a fast: paced retail environment: Present and justify design decisions to all levels of the business, taking feedback on board to iterate and improve design output: Work alongside UX Architects in understanding user research and evaluating user feedback to inform design decisions, approaching problems holistically to ensure designs work as part of a unified product. Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience : Demonstrable experience of creating user: focused UI designs with a portfolio showing your design process, and covering all responsive device sizes: Exceptional design skills, covering layout, colour, and typography: Experience using brand guidelines and UI design systems: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to tackle challenging design problems: Knowledge of user.
