Service Care Solutions are working with Oxford Health NHS Foundation to recruit a Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist to support a Multi-Disciplinary Team MDT in the Oxford area. The successful candidate will provide support to patients with a range of Mental and Physical Health conditions in line with the occupational therapy pathways in an Inpatient Setting. The contract duration is for 3 months with the likelihood of extension. This is a full-time placement, although part-time hours can be considered. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5 however these hours are flexible. Shifts: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 Location: Warneford Hospital, Highfield Unit – Oxford, OX3 7JX Pay: £20/£25 p/h LTD & £250 Sign-Up Bonus Job Purpose – Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, carrying a defined clinical caseload for individuals. The successful candidate will provide Occupational Therapy for Adults with mental health conditions, both over the phone and face-to-face. Key Responsibilities Postholder will provide high quality and evidence based occupational therapy backssment and interventions, both group and individual, to people who access services and their carers/supporters/family members, in line with the occupational therapy pathways. Able to talk to people about sensitive issues in a supportive manner but also challenge others assertively where necessary. Knowledge in using MOHO and/or Mo CA backssments i. e COSA, ACIS, Creative Participation Tool and writing reports based on these backssments. Knowledge of creating and implementing sensory schedules and/or sensory diets with Young People. The ability to explore sensory preferences with young people. To facilitate / co-facilitate groups with a range of different young people i. e eating disorders, emotional dysregulated, ASD.
