PM24ResponsibilitiesNorth County Respite is a short-term group living environment that provides treatment of intermittent crisis and stabilization for adults who are diagnosed with a mental health/substance use disorder. The goal of the North County Respite program is to work collaboratively with individuals to develop skills to maintain their independence in the community and to live a life that is not defined by their mental illness. The Residential Counselor supports individuals in the respite programs to live as independently as possible, while providing evidence-based treatment and care, within a group living environment. Counselors act as strong advocates for individuals served and understand the importance of community integration. Other Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing individualized, person-centered treatment plans and play a lead role in the daily implementation plans. Implement all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals and general cleanliness and safety of the physical site. Assist individuals to access and/or provide transportation. Review and complete all required documentation.Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required. Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record, required.
