Job Title: Financial Controller Location: Newbury Salary: Up to GBP60,000 per annum FTE (pro: rated to GBP36,000 per annum) Job type: Part: Time, Maternity Cover, 12 : 18 Month Contract Working Hours: 24 hours per week but can be flexible About Us: Kosnic Lighting is a successful family run business experiencing rapid growth. We are looking for a talented, hardworking Finance professional to join our team. This is your chance to utilise your financial knowledge and experience in a busy and varied role. You must have a strong sense of ownership, initiative and commercial awareness. About The Role: Production of monthly Management Accounts and financial statements Manage prepayments and accruals Cash flow management Produce and manage budgets Process and manage payroll and pension scheme Oversee all tax and regulatory/compliance issues Maintain and manage all property and insurance cover Manage the annual audit process, co: ordinating with external auditors Line management of Finance Assistant About you: At least 3 years previous experience in a similar role, preferably in SME Must be qualified : ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT Excellent communication skills and ability to talk in a non: financial manner Strong commercial awareness and inquisitive mindset Self motivated and keen to use own initiative to get things done Actively considers the wider picture and makes sound decisions Naturally analytical and enjoys problem solving Excellent on Excel and I.
