Electrical Test Engineer Location: Mountain View, CA/Palo Alto, CA Duration: 6 months Description: Project Overview: The Electrical Test Engineer will be responsible for performing tests, writing reports, and building prototype cables and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Overall Responsibilities: Troubleshoot electrical problems Maintain test equipment Stay up-to-date on new technologies Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: Perform tests on electrical components and systems Write reports on test results Build, prototype, bring up of systems and assemblies Build prototype cables and assemblies Maintain test systems Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering 3+ years in: Electrical Engineering Principles - Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles in testing 3+ years in: Test Equipment Proficiency - Experience with test equipment including power supplies, oscilloscope, function generators 3+ years in: Soldering - Experience with soldering techniques to build and rework equipment. Fix and troubleshoot of components. 3+ years in: Aviation Grade Electronics - Experience with aviation grade assembly and design. Provide design input on best practices and perform tasks with appropriate workmanship. 1+ years in: Cable Assembly Build, Test and Inspection - Experience with creating cable assemblies, testing existing cables and inspecting incoming cable assemblies.
