An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Lead Hospital Pharmacist/Deputy shop Manager to work in an exceptional private hospital in Kent. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers This is the largest independent hospital in Kent. A state-of-the-art imaging, diagnostic and operating environments and innovative technology support a wide range of specialist services enabling us to provide prompt, safe quality care for our patients To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Pharmacist and registered with General medical Council GPC Your key responsibilities will include: Lead in medication safety. This includes presenting a monthly medication safety seminar to clinical staff as part of the clinical critical training programme Lead in medication management and medicines optimisation Maintain accurate documentation whilst performing clinical shop activities Assist the shop Manager with the review and development of department standard operating procedures and guidelines to ensure a high standard of work is maintained Communicate with all service users in a professional, efficient and polite manner. Participate in multidisciplinary teamwork, helping to motivate staff and maintain effective working relationships Achieve, maintain and develop appropriate shop technical expertise, skills and knowledge Monitor correct and prompt shop charging for patients and other service users to maximise revenue capture Become an independent prescriber as the business requirements change Deputise for the shop manager in their absence.
