Throughout the 12: week program, you will collaborate with some of the best in the industry, receive on: the: job training, participating in professional development workshops, executive speaker series, and other networking and social events How You'll Help Us Connect the World As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for optimizing product design for 4G and 5G Radio software as part of the Networking, Intelligent Cellular and Security (NICS) business unit. You will work closely with our Software Engineering team to expand and modernize our suite of products while contributing to improvements in our technology and products. This role will be based in Lowell, MA. You Will Make an Impact By stylemargin: bottom:11.0px: Designing and developing application SW for 4G and 5G radio, Linux Kernal space, user space, and peripheral drivers: Programming So Cs and Multi: core processors at application software level. Designing and implementing of Ethernet and IP networking protocols. Ensuring the technical feasibility of software designs. Writing functional, design and test specifications. Prototyping software for new products. Staying up to date on new technologies. Collaborating with hardware and system engineering teams along with stakeholders Required Qualifications for Consideration stylemargin: bottom:11.0px: Actively pursuing a bachelor's (upcoming sophomores, juniors and seniors) or master's degree in the following Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university: Proven strong academic performer.
