The Opportunity Our Education team is looking for a passionate technical trainer who also possesses management skills to join the Education Services team. Candidates should have a proven track-record of teaching Cloud and computer virtualization related courses to customers using different modalities, both virtually using video conferencing tools and onsite/classroom delivery. You are inquisitive, a life-long learner, and keeping pace in the fast-paced field of virtualization and on-prem/public Cloud. You start off as a full-time trainer, co-delivering your first class after a couple of weeks, followed by ramping up on other courses that are part of our instructor-led training (ILT) training portfolio. Although you operate independently, you have a seasoned team to consult and rely on to assist you in any way possible. Exhibiting the proper qualifications and career aspirations, your responsibilities will partially transition from a pure individual contributor role to a people management position. Your permanent place of residence is in the United States. You are proficient in English. Customer Success at Nutanix The Nutanix Education Team is a global team within the Professional Services department. We are responsible for delivering advanced technical instructor-led training to Nutanix customers worldwide. Our team of instructors has had great success in providing high-quality training, ensuring that our customers have the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize Nutanix solutions. In addition to conducting training, our instructors also collaborate with courseware developers to review and test new and updated training materials. Our team's unique strength lies in our deep expertise in Nutanix technology and our commitment to providing exceptional learning experiences. Your Role Deliver proprietary training to Nutanix customers, face to face (onsite/classroom) and virtually (remote). Teach occasionally outside local "office hours" to customers outside your time zone, incl. EMEA. Assist the course development team by reviewing new/updated ILT courseware and testing training labs. Travel to customers outside the U.S. to conduct onsite training. Future people management responsibilities include: managing performance, enabling/ developing team skills, run team meetings, developing team collaboration, tracking and improving instructor metrics. What You Will Bring Knowledge of, and experience with virtualization and data storage is required . Strong candidates also have experience with Linux, networking technologies, and Cloud concepts. 3+ years recent experience delivering virtualization-related training to enterprise-class customers. Proven 2+ years work experience as a Technical Training Manager or IT manager. The ability to travel and work outside typical office hours, based on delivery in various time zones. Tracking and prioritization of multiple projects simultaneously, working in cross-functional teams. Experience with E-learning delivery and content development is desired. How We Work: We work in a remote model, and relish team collaboration and technical savviness. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 101,280 and USD $ 202,920 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
