Duties:Counsel clients on various renewables projects, emphasizing facilities operations and power purchase agreements.Provide legal advice and representation in litigation matters related to renewables projects.Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, hearings, and trials.Conduct legal research and analysis on renewables-related legal issues.Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to renewables projects.Develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. Requirements:10+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney.Robust renewables experience, preferably with knowledge of wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities, smart grid and energy storage, and energy efficiency and demand-side management.Portable book of business.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing of the Bar. Skills:Strong litigation skills, including trial experience.Knowledge of the renewables industry and related legal issues.Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.Legal research and analytical abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
