HOURS: Rotating shifts between Days (9am-5pm) and Evenings (1pm-9pm) and working one in every 5 weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 10am-6pm) Who We Are The work of Good Shepherd is based on a fundamental belief in providing hope and restoring dignity to the most vulnerable members of our community. Our services include emergency food transitional housing and education for homeless and street-involved youth; hospice palliative care; community mental health programs; and supportive housing programs. We are committed to integrating Harm Reduction practices into our programs and to prioritizing the rights, dignity, and choices of those who use substances. By integrating a Harm Reduction framework at Good Shepherd, we can decrease barriers to service and better support some of our community's most marginalized members. This opportunity is with our Good Shepherd - HOMES - Mobile Team How You Will Make an Impact Provide tenants with primary case management and community resources Services to tenants include backssment & planning Provide crisis prevention and intervention and supportive counseling Demonstrate commitment to the Good Shepherd mission values of Hospitality, Responsibility, Availability, Adaptability, Quality and Dignity What You'll Bring to Our Team A post-secondary education in social or health services A minimum of three years' experience in mental health, and concurrent disorders is required Recovery orientation' and 'consumer driven' style of practice is essential Possess the ability to work independently and think creatively Ability to speak French and/or other languages considered an asset CPR certification or willingness to be certified is required Adhere to working and operating within an anti-racism and anti-oppression framework Excellent attendance record required Excellent resident to staff ratio that allows for exceptional resident care A respectful and rewarding work environment with ongoing opportunities to grow and learn Committed to.
